In my last year at Fontys I was invited to work as choreographer/teacher for Sidera Theaterproducties in Venlo. During this year, my first year ever to give dance classes, I came to the realisation that I quite enjoyed teaching. To share my knowledge with others.
And right after graduation I rolled fully into the world of teaching. Now I work at four different dance schools in the Netherlands, giving classes in all sorts of styles to all sorts of groups of different levels.
Tikiko Tilburg is a children musical group. As dance choreographer together with Tina Brouwers, singing coach, we are the artistic leader of the upcoming production: ‘On A Magical Road’. Tikiko is a open to everyone interested from age 6-24.
Dans&balletschool Geraldine ‘s-Hertogenbosch is a pre-education for dance and a dance school in one. Teaching in all styles throughout the week and giving children the oppertunity to pre-study for a dance education, this school is giving a platform to enter the professional dance world or to simply enjoy dancing. Here I teach every wednesday Dance Explosion from 17:45 and 18:45, which is a combination of all sorts of dance styles within one class. From hiphop to modern and from ballet to floorwork. And Jazz/modern in an adults class at 19:45.
DDC (Djazz Dance Center) Zaltbommel is a dance school which offers a great variaty of classes on a high level. Here I am teaching High Heels every thursday at 19:15 and Showballet at 20:15.

And last but not least Sidera Theaterproducties in Venlo is an amateur musical assosiation which brings a wide variety of musicals to the stage on a high level. Last year I started working with Rick van den Belt and Louisa Peters as artistic team on ‘Carrie De Musical’. This production got us a normination at the AMA (Amateur Musical Awards). This year I will be working with Rick van den Belt, Meren Verhaegh and Liselot Kusters-Gijsen as artistic team on ‘Bring It On: De Musical’.
